Pizza Trump’s Memorial
The PGA Tour returns to Murifield Village GC for the 2016 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide. The tournament was founded by Jack Nicklaus in 1976, played at the Nicklaus-designed course in Dublin, Ohio.
The home course of World #1 ranked golfer Jason Day, it’s playing at 7,265 yards for an 18 hole Par 72. You’ll find Day ranked in our Top 5 for this weeks tournament although that has to do more with his play of late, along with 2014 Memorial Tournament champion Hideki Matsuyama.
The course is known for producing low scores, so look for the winner to post a score of 12 under par or better.
Memorial Tournament Top Options
You’ll want to include at least two of our top options when setting your daily fantasy golf lineup for head to head matchups in the Memorial Tournament. Jason Day, while on his home course, may not be the best choice as he’s missed two of the last 5 cuts at Murfield, finishing no higher than 13th in the past six years. Mastuyama on the other hand, won the 2014 tournament while finsihing 5th in 2015 on a course that suits his style of play.
